Hey Matthew,

I've been in gay bars many times, fraternize regularly with fags, I've kissed a man as a teenager and even been wanked off by one!

But don't worry, it's ok: I am a heterosexual. The fuckers didn't get me! I escaped! Phew.

I have been to two gay bars that I can remember.
The first one was a dance club. I was not told it was a dance club. I was tricked. I did not enjoy it.

The second was a couple doors down from a venue we were playing at in Madison WI a couple of months ago. It took me a minute to realize it was a gay bar. I noticed that there were no women. It was fine, but the beer was a little expensive. The only difference between the gay bar and the straight bar... At the gay bar, one of the patrons looked at us and said "I hope you boys don't speak english." Our drummer looked at him and said, "Not a lick." We all had a good laugh.

Many times. I used to go every weekend. I'd often get drunk, take my shirt off and dance on a podium.

This one time a guy got on the podium with me and put his hands down my knickers. Another time a big bearded guy followed me around and forcibly kissed me. I told him politely to leave me alone and then eventually told him to fuck off.

This was when I drank a lot and used to go out with my uncles and my girlfriend and her gay friends.

I'm gonna get straight to the point here: I'd be amazed, frankly, as to why any young man of our generation who lives in an urban community would not have been to a gay bar, just once at least, at some point in their social fraternizing. Unless they had no friends at all, and thus no homosexual friends.
