I'm looking for a fuzz pedal. I play a Les Paul and a Telecaster through a Hiwatt DR103. I've been listening to a lot of Can and This Heat and would really like to be able to get that evil sounding sizzle.
Any suggestions for under $150?
Thanks in advance.

I like the sound of a Fuzzface, a Fender Blender or the fuzz sound of the Experience pedal. The Little Big Muff sounds evil as well.
There are quite a few others that I haven't tried.

I use a Frantone PeachFuzz which I like a lot and heard about on
this thread. There's some good stuff on there.

I have a USA Big Muff and an Expirience fuzz pedal, both which I like and produce evil fuzz, if needed. You might check out the Zvex site, that guy makes some crazy fuzz pedals. I'm considering that Fuzz Factory myself. Informative video clips too.

Fuzz Factory = the spitting evil. Nothing else is quite like it.

The fuzz factory is boss. Also, the Octane is a copy of the Shin Ei Fuzz from their Fuzz/Wah pedal. Shin Ei also made the Univox Super Fuzz with this circuit.
Personally, I prefer the Octane as it has a touch of octave and ring modulation going on. But you can't go wrong with ANY ZVEX pedal.
Cheers!

I also recommend any of ZVEX pedals.
And, although some of her pedals have already been mentioned over on
this thread, I would like to once again bring up Effector 13. Devi's making some great stuff. I just had her do a TBTP...which is basically a TBD with the fuzz circuit replaced with her new Torn's Peaker. It's nothing short of AMAZING. In fact, she told me that she was going to put them into production...and it looks like she is.
Take a look.
