I think he is a joke. A knock knock joke that uses "orange" in the punchline.

I saw him on one of his spoken words tours. It was honestly laughable. Two hours of ranting about U.S. affairs in a little town in the Netherlands is beyond irrelevant. Half of the room walked out, which kind of made me feel sorry for him. He was still involved in a few wonderful things that were important to me at some point in my life.

Not crap, with waffles.

Fuck it, I love the guy. He means well, which is more than I can say for most people.

I tend to think of it as a mark of personal progression over the years that I have gone from thinking he was god to wishing he was more radical to (blahdy blahdy blah the next bit), but I still like to hear what he does, even if I get the feeling there’s a lot more ego than meets the eye, but a big part of it is people allowing him to be a spokesman for so much; the same reason anarchists end up with leaders. He’s doing some good things, which is more than a lot of people are. And for the amount of things over the years that have meant something to me, I couldn’t possibly vote crap on Jello Biafra.

Not crap.

Isn't he the reason that those of us on the other side of the world have heard Wesley Willis?

Not Crap.

He took on the PMRC and won, and "Give me convenience" is a damn good record. Not crap.

I'd rather hear him "rant" than "sing."

I like Biafra quite a bit. I enjoy a couple of his records, and no one can fuck with the Dead Kennedys/LARD/the Jellvins/No WTO Combo.

I saw him live on a spoken tour and the same shit happened that was previously stated...it just got too tedious for some people.

If he took more time to add a bit more social relevance then he would be received a little better. He seems like the rambling old punk guy everyone knows who if you give him a couple of lines he'll go from sundown to sunrise without regard as to whether he's being listened to or not.
