Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be excepting contributions until the last day of March. Once it is complete, I will send each contributor a copy that they can copy, sell and/or give away. Thanks again to everyone that has helped me out on this.
much obliged,
jonny

2Oooh, don't know about the selling idea. Bit of a logistical puzzle there.

Regardless, each person that sent me something to be on the compilation will receive one copy of said compilation, and is therefore free to do what he wants with it. I am not a label, and I am making no money on this endeaver. This began merely as a way for everyone that was involved in the "What band are you in" thread to provide more than just their bandname in a collective effort, and remains so. Anyone that is uncomfortable with their work being heard by people outside of the group of contributors ought not to contribute, I would say. In addition, this is going to be on a CDR, and will more than likely be duplicated to other CDRs if any contributors are so inclined. Therefore, it is reasonable to expect that someone who buys CDRs and makes copies of this to distrbute in any scale would likely prefer to not eat the cost of every single one. Therefore, as a contributor myself, I am comfortable with the idea of somebody charging a couple of dollars to cover the cost of CDRs, xerox copies of artwork should it be desired ( or perhaps some of you would like to make your own artwork should you decide to do this), and I am also appreciative of the possible exposure that otherwise would not have been available.

4Sorry. I didn't mean that people shouldn't hear it. I meant that I wonder if some people might object to someone else making a few dollars off their song. I personally don't care, but I thought maybe someone would.
