I'm working with a cool summer camp for aspiring teen musicians and it occurs to me there are some of you on this board might really dig this program. Students come in, form a band, write a single, record the song in a studio setting, shoot a video, play a live concert, see a private performance from a big national touring band, hear from music industry guest speakers and learn the nuances of the biz (last year we had the All American Rejects, Rise Against, The Donnas, The Unseen, Cyrus from New Found Glory, Joe Escalante from The Vandals and more).

It's called Power Chord Academy and we have sessions scheduled this year in San Diego at San Diego State, New York at St. Johns University and St. Louis at Washington University.
