Not quite as good as Joy Division but particularly the early stuff is solid, me thinks. This is arguably their best.

i don´t know. it has some of my favourite NO tracks (age of consent, leave me alone, the village) and if you have the version with blue monday in it...
plus the cover art is awesome.

but it has loads of "meh" tracks.

that´s blue monday, on its seven inch single version.

I picked this up today on a whim ( it was cheap) and really digging it. All the tracks are good. Joy Division showing their Kraftwerk influence even more. Not Crap.

I love this record but the 2 loops on "586" are very crappy ( "I see danger danger danger " , "yes I heard you heard you heard you heard you calling )
I wish I could remove them.

I really like those two loops. This is a great album. I like it loads better then most Joy Division.

i like the first song, and the last song, and none of the middle.

I am very nearly of the same opinion as the damned fly, but I have a weakness for 'Your Silent Face.' Bombastic, triumphant synth section giving way to sad little melodica part, fake drums, weired little sequencer rhythms, flat as hell vocals, then back to the triumphant bombast. Nutty.
