What soldering iron do you use/wish you were using?
I like the Weller DS100 Solder/Power Desoldering Station

I've heard Metcal is the bomb ( and know many who say so, religiously).
I'm using a Hakko 936. For the price it's hard to beat.
It's built a studios worth of equipment, and an assload of microphones, and still goin strong
regards
ju

i am hating the radio shack 20/40 watt iron. flimsy, lightweight base that alsways falls on the floor at least once per soldering session and the tips are suckjobs too.

Ive got a Weller WTCPT and it annoys the hell out of me. IT cools down if I put it down fro more than 1 minute. Just flakey.

Goot RX 711 (AS)
It's nice and comfortable to hold, with a thin pliable cable that doesnt get in the way much

The Weller WESD51 is "da bomb"!
Being able to set the temp is very useful.
