chloe won. i thought all three collections were pretty bad but would have to go with santio. if only for his kick ass song.

Chloe's shit was all really well-made.

I thought the guys had construction problems. I mean, I'm not exactly a trained fashion designer, and I could see a lot of problems on a 20" TV screen.

Santino's was kind of toned-down. I was hoping he'd go balls out.

Why do I like this show so much, Elisha? I think I just like watching people who are good at things and totally into what they are doing.

And I have no great knowledge of what they are doing that precludes my enjoyment of it. I cannot watch American Idol, for instance.

This show might be one of those things where it's almost better to come in 2nd or 3rd than it is to win.

Tim, i don't know why you like it so much. i don't know why i like it so much. you are right about them being both good and totally into what they are doing. i think maybe the difference with PR and something like american idol is the sincerity of the contestants. i have no doubt that if you took one of the idol people that was a boy band type and told him he could have a record deal if he went country, he would be wearing a cowboy hat in 5 seconds. the project runway people seem to actually care about what they are doing and look at it as their art. i don't know. i guess i also like looking at the clothes.

'Twas the handbags that killed Daniel. Positively dreadful. And I liked how everyone kept commenting on how great a sewer Chloe is. I mean, like, hello? She is a fashion designer. I liken it to everyone going apeshit over Alicia Keys; like they've never heard piano on a track.

Daniel V. took one of the photography classes I taught/assisted in. He has a good eye.

I really wanted him to win, because Chloe's stuff looked like Bridesmaids Dresses on Acid (not in a good way) and Santino's stuff wasn't as exciting as it could have been.

I can't believe I got sucked into this show. I think I saw the last 5 or 6 episodes and found myself anxiously awaiting the finale...which was very dissapointing. I thought all 3 collections were lackluster.

And now I've watched the first episode of Top Chef! What the fuck?
