Usually, I only wear a suit for special events such as funerals. Recently, however, I have have worn a suit when going out just for the hell of it. I like it.

Thoughts?

I used to do this. I've considered getting back into it. The problem is, I've only got one decent suit. However, with same's $40 suit tip (from one of the other suit threads), maybe I can expand my wardrobe!

Not Crap, if you can put up with "why are you wearing a suit?" from every goddamn body.

I've been meaning to make this thread for a few weeks now.

I was reading an old thread, I forget which, where someone said wearing a suit is for people who don't have their own style. Well I don't have my own style. I'd like to buy clothes with the style built in so I dont have to concern myself with it.

I don't know anything about suits though. Are there various types and styles for specific occasions or can you get a "casual" one and wear it/them every day? Do they all have padding in the shoulders? I always thought that'd make me look weird.

Are you supposed to wear a waistcoat too or is that optional?

Anyway, not crap, I will do this someday.

I have no idea why anyone would do this. I find suits to be effeminate and impractical.

I only wear my suit when I'm out with Heather and she says I should. Or at a funeral. Or a wedding.

I have to admit that being in a suit, though uncomfortable, does make me feel pretty good. Something about making my girlfriend look better by not having a slob for a boyfriend, I think.
