2So good.
Although, the other day when I was listening after I entered in all of the music I like, Yanni came up.
Motherfucking Yanni.
Seriously, I couldnt make this stuff up.
If thats what my musical tastes lead to (and we all know computers dont lie), then, damn son.

4I prefer last.fm.
Pandora gave me two Celine Dion songs in a row one day, and that was my last day with Pandora. Last.fm is better in some ways, and worse in some ways, but they haven't played anything too shitty so far, so that's my pick.

7I prefer music that doesn't skip.
BUT
I don't actually own any Bastro records.
Pandora will have to do.

9Considering it's a free website that doesn't require any bullshit to sign up, you gotta give it some props even if it dishes up a fair amount of wack shit.
My "Gang of Four Radio" project has generally provided good results, but has gotten off track and started going down the butt metal or drunk punk path quite a few times. You gotta be vigilant about telling it what you don't like.
I think part of the problem is that its selection process goes by a list of characteristics which could apply to numerous rock genres: "minor key tonality, electric instrumentation, extensive vamping (great way to put it)," and so on. Clearly, these features can be found in anything from blues to death metal. I would prefer it if Pandora could identify and isolate genres - so that by selecting Gang of Four or Wire, for instance, you could get all post punk, but maybe that's too much to ask for.
Still, free music and occassional good stuff I've never heard. Not crap.
