I've been curious about this too. I think I remember someone else saying it was kind of dull sounding on snare. But I'd be curious as to what other people thought.

I'm using it as we speak on a session for the bottom snare mic. Sounds great!!! My new defacto mic for the bottom snare. Really good isolation.

Did you get to try it on top or shell-side by any chance? I'm really very curious...

On Josephson's website they say a new series six capsule is going to be designed. Something tells me it won't have the rolled off high end of the e22s. But I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

I've been using it on the bottom side of the snare with a 57 on top. Sounds great.
