Really bland CRAP.

But I give them a moderate WF because of the drummer. He's damn good and he plays in a fantastic new heavy band called Year Long Disaster with the bassist from Karma To Burn and Dave Davies' son. Saw them last weekend and they kicked 10 kinds of ass. Chatted with the drummer afterwards and he's very a personable guy to boot.

brings to mind a phrase i use, "i'm white, but i'm not that white."

really boring white boy music.

also, moderately boring white girl music. girls have a little more room for bad taste thanks to tits.

girls are the tits.

I have to beg to differ here on this one. It's pop music yes, but I would argue that it's well constructed pop music. There is no qualitative difference b/t this band and SUPERCHUNK or The Get Up Kids.

They're all just "cooler" by varying degrees, depending on who you talk to.

To be honest, I started to listen to punk music in the 7th grade or so because of bands like these. That is, it was nancy pop music that turned me on to punk. Bands like Superchunk and Get up Kids get/got tossed in the indie/punk scene but they're nothing more than pop bands.

Now, I'm older and I'm not as cool, but I think it's cool to like this band. I dig'em.

Third Eye Blind, like Starship before them, are from San Francisco, Italia.

I once had a long talk with a guy who, at one time, was a personal assistant to the singer of Third Eye Blind.

The singer of Third Eye Blind, who once compared his band's "DIY" ethics favorably with those of Fugazi, used to call this guy up in the middle of the night, saying stuff like "I just saw this jacket on a commercial. Order this jacket for me right away."

Light-weight soft rock crap.

C'mon, does anyone like to admit they bought a Third Eye Blind album a few years ago today? I didn't think so.....

ReubenRemus, i ask you in all seriousness, are you a jokey alter ego for an already present board member?

i ask because you have posted close to 50 times in two days. i ask because you end many of your posts with a "hahaha" directed at your own comments.

if you are a real person and not a joke than i ask this of you. please take a breath.
