I was raised on easy-listening, lite FM schmaltz like Air Supply. My enjoyment of them comes from nostalgia, but, I'd be remiss if I didn't state that I honestly enjoy some of their songs.
"Making Love Out of Nothing at All" is epic. God, I love that song. The lyrics are so bad: The beating of my heart is a drum, and it’s lost
And it’s looking for a rhythm like you. But, goddamn it leaves me soaring. The song "Lost in Love" has this synth sound effect that goes "pshwwwwwww." It sounds like a shooting star. Gets me all the time.
I am proud and honored to cast the only not crap vote here. And if someone would be so cheeky as to post a N/NC poll of Charlene's "I've Never Been to Me" that would get a strong NC as well.
