I've been meaning to read Dhalgren for years. Anyone?

Dhalgren is long and slow in parts, but I really did enjoy it. It was one of those books that stayed with me and I thought about long after I read it. I found the reality/identity/sexuality themes interesting and disturbing. Definately not crap and well worth the read.

Delany is a singular character, probably a genius. Quite possibly the most creative innovator in English prose since Joyce. Not crap.
