Sly would have totally changed the tone and it probably would have been a formula action movie without the laughs.

Not only does it have 80s-era Eddie Murphy in it, but it also has 80s-era Judge Reinhold. Therefore: NOT CRAP. I think you will find that my logic is flawless.
