In the documentary of his life he described his frustration with the technique and his training. And also the emphasis placed on the technique. He knew how to win, but he wasn;t interested in the rigid process.

On one of the 70's chat show, Merv or mike, he demonstrated his modifications. He was not crap

Or are you high?

Bruce Lee is not crap, no way. Watching him "fight" in movies has been something that has made me happy for years. Game of Death is the best for this, though not my favorite BL film. You can see how artful his fighting is when he's up against Kareem, Chuck Norris and Don Inosanto. It's wonderful to have an element of grace included in a sound ass-whipping.
