Saw the Pulp last night (for about the 100th time).

I've always wondered what's in the briefcase.

I've heard things. I've also heard that even Tarantino doesn't know.
But it seems like it would be something.

What do you guys think? What's in the case?

I watched Pulp Fiction and didn't care what was in the case. I watched the movies he stole the idea from, Kiss Me Deadly and Repo Man, and in those I did care.

That's "The Great Whatzitz?"...

It is a tribute to Kiss Me Deadly, a great film.

Clearly a knock off of the great finale to Kiss Me Deadly, which was also ripped by Raiders of the Lost Ark (even more directly) and Repo Man, as has been noted.

I have always thought that the Grail was in the brief case. It reminded me of an old Harlan Ellison short story wherein a guy looks for and eventually finds the grail (in NYC high rise apt.). He looks into the grail just as Travolta's character does. I don't know, of course, and the movie was an overall disappointment of the highest degree, so I do not really care, either.

It's the screenplay. And a small penlight.
