What's so funny about an American actor having a short-lived career as a crooner in Europe? I guess something, and it generated a good chunk of money foro him. It bridged the gap 'til Baywatch, I guess. And I'm sure he caused a lot of middle-aged German/Austrian/etc. ladies to have hot flashes.

The artificial song/video overlap was stupid, although I understand how people like to reduce things to a crisp, super-dumb lump of whatever.
