Seems I have had bad bad luck with many 'fix-it' places here in Chicago for fixing gear. C&S Organ on Chicago once took a month to NOT fix an organ, Midwest Music Menders wanted to charge me what two new amplifiers cost to fix the one I brought in, some place on Armatage west of Western that also took so long to fix my microwave oven (they do gear too) I ended up buying another while waiting for the first to be fixed and IT died of old age, a guitar guy once swapped out my nice old stock tubes for new crappy cheap tubes without my permission while he was fixing something totally unrelated, and there is some fixit guy around town who is now famous at taking his damn sweet time to get doing jobs, or so I hear. Anyone know of anyone better? Deltronics? Midtown? Bob Weston? HELP! I break stuff!

Very helpful. Thank you sir. I didn't mean to wake the boss up.

What about old mic pres, outboard gear, general electrical jolts and smoking metal boxes?
