as some of you know, i play in a band called dianogah, and one of our best qualities is that we've been around for 11 years.

which isn't saying much, i know.

i was recently looking at google earth, scrolling around europe, and trying to recall which cities i'd been to, and when i was where, which prompted me to work with j_harvey on a complete list of all the shows we've played.

the list is up now, and i know i've met some EA folks years ago at some of these shows.

here's the list.

we've got a couple missing dates/venues/bands , if anyone can help fill in details.

if anyone cares, we're playing at the hideout on sat july 22. we'll be recording a new album this fall.

Did Dianogah play at the McHenry County VFW hall with Shellac, C-Clamp, Brits Out Of America, etc. back in 1997?

I thought that you had.

The bands rolled dice for show slots. The VFW hall had great sock hockey floors.

Was it hot that day?

I like your band and I think your biggest acheivement is not going for 11 years but being good. So there.

Awesome. You know, someone could do a downloadable .kmz file of these. Then we could load it into Google Earth and follow along at home. It would be like stalking Dianogah from a satellite. For years.

11 yrs and shows with Shellac, Silkworm, Don Caballero, Uzeda, Paul Newman, Bedhead, the For Carnation, June of 44 and Dick Justice? You guys should just be fat and living off Hot Doug's.
