Curious if anyone has a list of such a thing. Anything from Bruce Springsteen's "Nebraska" to Ween's "The Pod".
Thanks for anything you can offer.
EDIT: Should have clarified, I'm referring specifically to recordings made on something like a Tascam Portastudio and the like. Big Black's "Lungs" style, for example.

All of Can's albums from 1968-1975 were recorded on a two track.

Smog's early records. I think everythning upto Julius Cesear was done on a cassette portastudio (correct me i'm wrong).

I think Elliott Smith's first solo release (on Cavity Search?) was a four track cassette thing.
Don't know if that counts as major. Probably not.

PJ Harvey, 4-Track Demos. I don't know how "major" it is but I like it a lot.
