I saw them opening for Sonic Youth in the A.T.L. last month. The singer was a fox. The music was........ehhhhhh.
Enough to make me spend 15 bucks on a t-shirt.

I haven't heard them but after having to sit through Awesome Color, my faith in Thurston Moore's taste has been greatly reduced.

Our guitar player burned this for me the other night. I've listened to it twice. I didn't really hate it, but I don't really need it around I guess. I think maybe they would be good live. The guitars are a little too slick. The singer sometimes sounds like Gwen Stefani.
I can't imagine why Thurston thought they were worth signing.
Crap.

I was bored my first Friday in town and went and checked these guys out since they were on Ecstatic Peace.
Live, they this weird kind of charm.
Almost like the YYY's chick singing for a noisy Minor Threat.
I didn't like the singing either.

So far I've heard 10 or 11 songs and only liked two, one of which I cannot remember at all beyond the chorus.
Impressively energetic, but instantly forgettable.

I beg to differ.
Be your own Pet are the best Band around.
They are incredible
They are everything that Rock'n'Roll should be.
Sharp, fast, noisy, catchy
Apart from that, they are everything most bands wish they would be.
tight, fun, sexy, crisp
And they have a sense of humour

I've have 24 Songs by them and not one bad track among those. Actually, they are all great.
