Hi,

I am in the market for a good but basic outboard reverb unit. I wanted to get some suggestions for something not insanely expensive but still a quality unit. I do not need the "best" but just something that I can use and have some tweaking ability. I'd say if I could keep it under say $250 that would be great. I'm not even sure what the price range on an effect like this is. Someone had mentioned a Lexicon? I'm not sure if I'm remembering the name correctly. Any advice would be great.

you might be thinking about the M-ONE XL, which is a cheap multieffect unit from lexicon. going any cheaper is throwing your money away. shit, the cheap lexicon is probably throwing your money away.

I'm not sold on the Lexicon or anything but just someone had mentioned it to me. Any suggestions as to mid priced units?

If you want a spring unit, the Furman RV2, with the parametric, is the ticket.
On Ebay quite often.

The M-One XL is made by TC Electronics, not Lexicon. It's actually quite decent and much better than the cheapest Lexicon. I own one and it sounds pretty good for the limited use it gets.
