Personnally, there are times I find myself disagreeing with Mr. Stewarts (or his writers) stance on the happenings in our world, but in general I think this show presents a social commentary that is still fresh.

Not Crap, but with a moderately high waffle factor because I'm not sure if this is really a worth-while program..

I hope this hasn't been done before.

When Jon Stewart first took over how many years ago, I was afraid that it was a sign that he was washed up. Not so! Jon Stewart has made this show so much better. In the last year, the show has gotten much more politically charged, which makes the jokes cut even more.

Not crap.

Best show ever...I think that Jon Stewart is way above that show. The other people ruin the rest of the show.

Yeah, it took Jon a long time to find his niche, alot of long time fans of the show thought he sucked as a Kilborn replacement.... well, we all know how that ended up. I love the correspondent's sketches as well, what are you talking about detracting from the show?

I disagree with the other correspondents detracting from the show. Some of the funniest non-Jon Stewart or Lewis black moments have come from Stephen Colbert. I heard he's a prick in real life though.

Not Crap by miles.

The one thing I wish they could do is have longer interviews. Even if it meant having a 45 min show. It's Comedy Central, they don't really watch the clock anyway.

NOT CRAP because I'd much rather find out what occurs outside of the little bubble I've created for myself from them instead of Dan Rather or some other "newscaster" who take themselves and the news way too seriously.

Not Crap,

But I've been irritated in the last year with the election politics coverage.
They seem to go way to easy on the dems and appropriately harsh on the repbulicans. This leads to a lot of lame jokes and wasted time. They don't want to appear partial, so they Jab at Kerry. But they don't want Kerry to look bad, so their jabs are superficial and unfunny.

I think the correspondent stories are usually hilarious when they actually do field reporting. Did anyone see the twisty cats one?

I liked the very immature 'Cooter Festival" correspondent story.
