I have the opportunity to get one of these console... but even on the net I didn't get a lot of infos on them (ages, quality, sound ...). This one looks pretty nice , like an old made console but in very good state.

If anyone got infos on this it would be great.

I've got fews infos : it Studer like but made in France. Very solid , with clean eq and round preamp.

I'm quite sure it's high-end ... any of you every tried one please ?

Hi, Piotr here, as far as I know Girardin made a lot of recording and broadcast equipement for Radio France, you should probably try to get in touch with some techs there. I have a small portable mixer dating probably from the 50's which is fun with only rotary controls. As far as the sound is concerned, I guess it's fine but limited, then again, as with a lot of old gear, the trouble with it is often worth it... Good luck !
