A band from Strasbourg (France) is named "Enregistré par Steve Albini".
Here is their website: http://stevealbini.free.fr/epsa.html

This is a weird way to get known. What do you think?

I don't know if Steve has actually recorded them or if he even knows about their band. They're starting to have a little buzz in France. I haven't listened to the music though.

It's right up there with Bare Naked Ladies, Hoobastank, and Buckethead on the 'dumb band names' list. I have a feeling a sack full of weed was emptied prior to committing to that name (all names listed, probably).

I`d be embarrased if someone use of my name like that, because it is so silly.
It`s not the better way to pay a tribute to Steve.
It would be better if they just try to make good music instead. It would propably please Steve much more ,I belive.

Indeed.....but never trust a French buzz my friend.
