Honestly, why are seemingly straight women making out with each other so much now-days? I can't remember seeing this as much as I have this summer - at street fairs, bars, shows, etc...

Probably because guys are acting like asshats more and more these days, so switching teams looks like a better option every day.

If you see seemingly straight women making out at street fairs, bars and shows, you can be 99.9% sure that you are witnessing actual straight women women trying to get dudes to pay attention to them. Oldest, dullest trick in the book.

I suspect that they are also in their late teens/early 20s and drunk.

Actual lesbian women have no interest in entertaining you. (Unless, you know, that's just their thing.)
