requesting help.
I am putting together a sampler CD for my studio, Russian Recording. This isn't some wanky demo cd though, it's going to be professionally mastered, pressed and packaged (the packaging is really awesome and will be printed on a letter press by Ryan Nole at Kangaroo Press).
So it needs a cool name. I plan on putting one out every year, so it could be a series or something.
So far all I have come up with is "Sounds From the Motherland, v.1"
but i have a good feeling that someone on this here board can come up with something superior. Or maybe that's as cool as it gets, in which case let me know.
Also, if anyone's interseted in one, they're going to be free (postage only), and in limited quantities. They probably won't be ready until late 2005/early 2006 though. if you want one, send me your info and ill add you to the list.
here's a track listing of the bands that will appear:
Racebannon
Magnolia Electric Co.
The Coke Dares
Push-Pull
American Werewolves
Lucky Pineapple
Morrow
Gentleman Caller
Nate Jackson
Abner Trio
1000 Arrows
Wasteland DC
Turn Pale

mike
