so i bite the bullet, stop bumping the "book band in xyz" topic, and voila:

my band / one-man-plus-indie-rock-project - sfu*ma*to - is touring from the MidWest to the West West these days (now til circa mid-November). if you have any suggestions/feedback and/or want to throw a house show, please let me know.

The Picador (ex-Gabe's Oasis) says that 10 October is possible with a solid bill - anyone know of a band with some draw who could play that night in Iowa City?

if any of you fellow musicians dig our music - http://poofish.com/pmr/sfumato - and are in a position to tour (even if it's only for a show or 2) and would be interested in contributing some drums or bass or cello or another geetar or more vocals, let me know. (i have 4 friends spread from Montreal to Arizona to L.A. who claim they're up for some touring, but the proof is not yet in hand so to speak.)

hmm. what to do. it's now almost the 15th, so so much for finding a Thursday show. a Friday one would be brilliant though...

thanks to Tim & Andy & Brian & Chris of Bottomless Pit for a great set Wednesday, and The Cape May & Nina N. for not sounding too shabby themselves. some seriously good people were there, be they electrical or analogue. thanks Chicago.
