yeah i've got a promo that sounds quite nice. steve did work on it, from what i gather. it's called "the difference between me and you is i'm not on fire."

it's a very solid album with the usual mclusky cleverness in titles and lyrics. the lead track is called "without msg i am nothing" and features a killer asian sounding lead guitar riff. "i think i'm turning japaense," eat your heart out.

Yup. Engineered by Steve at Electrical. There's some great songs on it, but so far it hasn't hit me like "Do Dallas."

I suppose Steve and Mclusky also recorded another record before this one, but scrapped it because the old drummer was drumming "like a pussy."

Fucking great album. Saw them with yourcodenameis:milo another band engineered by Steve and Mclusky blew Milo out of the water. Milo's record isn't great either. It's alright and I like the guitar sound but for a mini album it doesn't entertain throughout.

The new drummer IS better. Wooh Mclusky!

I am just listening to the new record and think that song writing wise it is closer to the first album 'My pain and sadness...' Some great sounds on there though - I think the guys have spent a lot of time working on getting some really great guitar sounds.

I heard from Andrew that there was a bunch of songs recorded with Steve Albini with the old drummer but I believe that they have been scrapped - maybe they will be released on a future 'Rarities/B-Sides' album

I went from absolutely hating this record to really liking it in three listens. The songs have less of a one-liner, inside joke feel to them, as compared to "Do Dallas"

It's worth mentioning that Greg recorded two of the songs on the record, both of which sound great.

It's worth mentioning also that the new Detachment Kit record also sounds great.
