if you really care, there are several reasons i didn't respond until now...

1) i don't really know of any bars that are decidedly meat-markets where the chicks are "indie". the meat-markets i know of would have more like the drunken "lincoln park trixie" style of chick. which is in some ways the polar opposite of the indie chick.

2) when you say "friendster isn't working", it scares me. trying or using friendster seems kinda iffy to me, but to give it a shot and have it not work just wigs me out a little. and a guy who's into the whole picking-up-chicks-in-a-bar thing, if you need any kinda help with that, i can't imagine how you succeed when you're in the bar, y'know? i just don't picture the successful player as a guy that goes to the internet for help. hrm.

3) um... also, your name sounds too greek?

that being said, you could try the lava lounge on damen, or nick's in wicker park, i dunno. geez, cut to the chase and go to the empty bottle, why not? but honestly, my opinion here, the best "indie chicks" you're gonna find, you're not gonna find them at a bar that someone says is "a good place to pick up indie chicks". i tend to think that meeting truly kickass chicks is something that just happens, and if you go out of your way trying to make it happen, it's like a guarantee that it won't. grain of salt included.

ps - yeah, calling somebody a faggot, wow. and you're having a hard time getting help? hrm... FYI, i didn't read your thread because i want to know what's the best place in chicago to pick up chicks. i couldn't give a fuck about that. i read it to see if there was more to it than that. other than some angst, looks like no.
