What are the practical / functional / audio differences between the Elan 2 and Elite 2 consoles? Clearly the Elan is simpler, but that's about all I can figure out. I'm considering the purchase of a 48 input board, and it seems that Sytek is one of only a few modern manufacturers making anything worth its salt. Help or opinions, anyone? Thanks.

If you want to know technical differences contact Mike Stoica. He is making both consoles right now. As far as use in a studio, I don't have experience with Elans, just Elites.

I know that Steve had posted that they were going to stop making the Sytek preamps, hadn't heard anything about the consoles.

How could we lose?
