Doing a search for this sorta thing gave me thousands of results. I went through the first couple of pages and found no reference to this topic, so please be gentle if it's been done before.
One of my votes for worst band name goes to Poi Dog Pondering. Not only do they suck ass, their name sucks ass, too.

Searching and not fining is no excuse.
Early erection would qualify as a not bad band name. It needs an article or a qualifier. But I was inspired by the morning wood.

Well, she did such a good job in Wayne's World, singing that Sweet cover...
Since the original thread has gone missing, I will once again nominate "Hoobastank." This is surely the worst band name ever. For ever ever.

Some of the Gorch Fock guys play in Tia Carrera. Yes, it's a horrible name.
