Leno Vs. Letterman

I can't imagine, nor have I ever met anyone who likes Jay Leno. His show sucks. He has shitty guests, and his jokes are not funny. The same goes for the rest of the late night people, excluding Conan O'Brien, although Letterman is decent sometimes.

Letterman > Leno.

leno's entire show, especially his monologues, are painfully unfunny, and his spiel is the same every night:

(1) bill clinton sure liked sex!
(2) americans sure are fat!
(3) this war in iraq sure is crazy!
(4) george bush sure is dumb!
(5) how about crazy that thing that celebrity did!
(6) black folks and white folks sure are different!
(7) that one guy in my band sure likes to smoke pot!

and my girlfriend pointed out that he repeats the same unfunny "punchline" over and over after pretty much every "joke". god almighty, that is irritating. letterman over leno, easily, and conan over everybody. leno should be put in front of a firing squad.

but one of my favorite things about conan is when he does jay leno impressions. so, jay leno is at least good for something!

I never understood the giggling sidekick thing though. Every show, Kevin Eubanks will start laughing hysterically and it just annoys me. Plus, it's always surrounding a joke about pot or porn. He's only got one fucking guitar riff too - it's the "prepare for the badumm-tsss!" riff, you'll know it when you hear it.

I've always liked Paul Schaffer...yeah, he's the sidekick and all of that, but he has more of a personality to him than Eubanks does--yr right, all Eubanks does is that deep belly laugh 'oh, jay, you're so silly!'

The King of the Jungle guy came on last night and brought some wild animals..now that was pretty funny, Letterman was scared shitless because I guess a dog bit him on one on the nights (!?)

Whyn't nobody post about why they like Leno? I mean the fucker makes my stomach crawl with hatred and bile and he sorta falls under the Letterman Top 10 category of "Things you'd like to pound and pound with a shovel." Personally I think Conan crushes these fools, by Crom, but If I had to pick, it sure a shit wouldn't be that simp, Leno.

That's some funny shit, and I agree, but I had to go with Letterman. Paul really adds to the free-form of the show, even when the jokes fall flat.
