Hi,
This is my first post. Thank you so much for creating this forum, it is an INCREDIBLE wealth of info. Does anyone have any suggestions for recording studios/engineers in Los Angeles that have an Electrical vibe to them? Honestly, once we have the budget there is no doubt we will come to Electrical to record, it sounds like heaven, but we are in Southern California and would like to document our band. Seriously, any tips you all can give me would help so much. Surprise, Surprise, we are working with about a $1500 - $2000 budget. The most important component is it is a good room to track drums. We were hoping for about 1 day of tracking "live" and 1 1/2-2 days of mixing. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING THIS!!!

3I only know of the superbly expensive, famous joints. I've never recorded anyone there.
Sorry I don't have any more info.

North Hollywood... Nice. After recording at the Hook, you can hook up with some hookers... convenient!
