boss RV-3 digital reverb-delay problem

I have one of those gray boss RV-3 digital reverb/delay pedals. I've had it for about 6 years and it just recenlty started making a weird noise on the delay feedbacks. When the pedal is set on one of the delay settings and a note is played, the source note sounds fine but at the attack of the delay feedback notes, there is a slight puff of fuzz noise. This happens on all of the settings that involve delay. The plain reverb settings sound fine. I've opened it up to see if there were any visible problems with bad solder or broken parts and can't detect any. Any ideas as to what could be the problem? thank you

Are the IC's in sockets? If so, try popping them out and pressing them back in again. Barring that, you might have a bad one...or bad power feeding one...is the internal circuit board solidly mounted still?
