I went to a studio in the UK years ago, and they had this rumble box, for the bass player to stand on, i knew little about recording back then. I seem to recall it had a speaker inside it (maybe with no cone?) and was silent.
I have since started my studio, and really want to find/build one of these...anyone got any info on how they work, or where to get one? I'm guessing it's fairly simple..

looks interesting, though i was after a slightly more DIY solution...
