last night was the "run for cover" show here in DC, something like 10 different cover-bands playing 3 songs each. raising money for a skatepark or some shit. anyways, one of the highlights of the night was a band called "Oi!asis" they had the look down, they had the attitude, starting fights with each other and talking shit on each other and kicking each other out of the band. their set began with a pretty spot-on version of wonderwall, which went about 1 minute before it split open into a punked out rendition (hence the Oi!). it was fun and funny. people in the crowd continually threw things at them as they played. it made us laugh and have a good night.

for this ability to make me smile with parodies of their shite, they get some waffle factor so small, not needing quantification. thoroughly CRAP.

All kidding aside, they could be Nu Metal and I'm sure we'll agree that we don't need the British version Korn.
