So me and the lady are throwing around ideas for vacation this summer. We've got some frequent-flier mile rewards coming to us in the form of two round trip tickets to anywhere in the continental US. This will be a relaxing vacation, not a ton of sightseeing... but we'll want to go out. Thinking about Chicago, or else somewhere on the West Coast.

What say you?

I love Philly, I love NYC...why not come visit?...although isn't there somewhere...uhh...not urban...that you could get away to?

Chicago is worth visiting for sure. For a big city Chicago is really tourist friendly. There's plenty to do here: The Field Museum, Museum Of Science and Industry, Museum Of Taxi Cab Fatalities, the list is endless.

Even if you wanna do a low-key vacation Chicago is good. There's many intimate places to eat and/or drink. Try Topolobampo or Arun's. Fuck it, go to Hot Doug's and see what all the talk is about.

You could also be in the audience of Oprah or Jerry Springer. Wow.

Chicago is a world class city, Paris on the Prairie. You should go, try it out....

Come early summer and see the Electrons play a baseball game.

You probably shouldn't, unless you don't attract police attention. I guess the cops are worse there than anywhere else. You must abide by laws.
