Nice little AKGs. The low-end response on these is pretty insane, but I like it. However, they make my head hurt sometimes... and they still kick ass.

I use these, they're a good balance between cost and the inevitable fact that I will lose or break them. Also they don't leak too much sound, which is nice. Low end is fair enough but the high is hyped a bit.

I use the Sennheiser PX-100 phones as well. They sound great and they're light and cheap. Best of all possible worlds.

I tried some of those Sony studio reference headphones once and they were damn flat. Why do you want to know anyway? If it's for recording and you can afford them(and I can't) , get those ones. I know a lot of people who don't trust Sony build quality (understandable), but their pro/ semi pro phones aint that bad. Good luck.

The Sony 7506's are something of a reference. You can get them for a little over 100 bucks, and they are mixworthy. I like them. But I want the 7509's...

Those are the 7509's. I want 'em. They are mixworthy, and good for live sound as well. I can crank them to deafness.
