Korn is the epitome of Crap. Korn reaches a level of Crap that all other bands can only dream of reaching.

There is no such thing as a good Korn album/song.

I seriously have a reallylike/hate relationship with this band. I gid the hell out of their first two records and "Got the Life." I think their cover of "Word Up" by Cameo is pure gold.

Everything else i've heard by them, though, from basically most of Follow the Leader on, including their holy-shit-what-were-you-thinking cover of "Another Brick in the Wall Part 2," is unrelentingly bad. It's like they were just hanging by a thread for the first two records and ran out of ideas really quickly.

Still, any band with the balls to gate the bass guitar so much that it stops generating individual notes and basically becomes another percussion instrument deserves some sort of recognition...of some kind.

Oh, and their fans are fucking annoying. And they helped get Limp Bizkit signed, i think.

Overall, barely NOT CRAP with massive, gargantuan waffles.

Years and years ago, my brother and I were hanging out and listening to the radio, when an early Korn song popped up. It opened with the singer shouting, "Are you reaaaaddyyyy??!?!?" It failed so miserably at being badass that my bro and I laughed about it for the rest of the night.

they are Krap, for sure. however, the footage of them playing @ "woodstock 2" is pretty great. they rocked the fuck out of that crowd. waves upon waves of people jumping en masse. the music they rocked them with? Krap. but it kinda makes me like 'em a little.

Some people try to defend Korn's "noisyness", but they are a steaming pile of crap. I don't like seven string guitars... and I don't like a players bass tone to sound like someone playing the spoons. CRAP!

KORN off stage is hilarious, though. There's a DVD collection full of their 'philosophy' and antics that can stand beside that Metallica movie or Decline of Western Civilization, the Metal Years.
