I don't understand why every one constantly gives anyone shit whenever they ask Steve Albini a question. Isn't it normal to have questions for people who you greatly respect?

I'm just having fun because the original post makes it sound like he HAS TO do it. I'm guessing it was a choice. So I had some fun with it.

I think Steve has a pretty awesome track record of responding to some posts, and not responding to others, in a way that appears totally chaotic to me.

Also check wikipedia, there are many many resources on the internet, you should have no problems finding information. First make sure you understand the distinction between 'producer' and 'recording engineer'. You will probably find that Steve Albini's preferred role is that of a recording engineer not a producer.
