I'm listening to these two albums a lot at the moment (Mesmerize and Hypnotize)

I think the melodic vocals mixed with heavy thrash riffs and eastern melodies and weird time changes are great.

Their earlier stuff is not as good. I think they have reached their pinnacle with these two albums. Apparently they can't get on together so they will probably be the last.

Good driving and jogging music.

I was always put off by the fact that every little metal kid had a t-shirt of theirs on.

Laughable.

Metallica as played by anarcho-jugglers.

They sound like Osama falling down a concrete stair case while holding a plugged in guitar and screaming...
