Ya know, i've seen some pretty extreme and blatant examples of trolling--your typical "log in and post ridiculous sexist/racist/homophobic" crap, Being pro-Bush in a liberal forum, etc...but i have to give this new guy credit. Registering on the EA Forum and immediately extolling the virtues of Pink Floyd exhibits a sense of subtlety in trolling and an understanding of the audience being trolled that is far more sophisticated than your typical flame-junkie.
Salut! mw!

Check his/her "joined" date. Hardly immediate.
I much prefer Pink Floyd over Sonic Youth. Your values are not shared by everyone here, doc. Speaking for the "audience" as a whole is a mistake.

Well, I'm pretty sure Steve would. He isn't a "producer", which is why he refers to himself as an
engineer.
A producer usually has a lot of input on the sound of a band on record. Watch the documentary of the making of Aerosmith's album
Pump for example, and you'll see the producer telling them to change lyrics, guitar parts, etc. Listen to an album recorded by Phil Spector, and you'll hear the "Phil Spector sound". The only thing on a recording that might give away the fact that Steve recorded it is the sound of the drums, and that's not even always the case.

i'm not saying steve (or whoever ) does a shit job... i'm saying the production on pink floyd albums is...well...
the production of a rock album

Goodness. On top of everything else, mw spent enough time lurking to thoroughly scout the audience. This dedication to craft exceeds what i was even surmising!
