Does anyone know what the meaning of this song was??

When it came out 'Teen Spirit' was a deoderant for young people with annoying commercials.

I assumed they were making fun of their fan-base or something

Anyone know??

The desk used to record that song was just moved to the studio I am doing an intern at. Random.

The lyrics made no sense. I think this one that Kurt wrote in the studio.

It was just a random, probably drunken thing that Kathleen wrote on the wall....the kind of goofy thing that any of us has said or done that really doesn't mean anything.....

The phrase always stuck in Cobain's head and so he titled the song that. He claimed that he had no idea that it had anything to do with a deodorant.....

Kurt should come back from that farm in Montana and start Nirvana again.

hm, when that song came out i was wearing teen spirit as my deodorant. i thought it was funny... as for the meaning... i was telling someone here the other day about his journals i was reading in borders one day. i'm pretty sure that guy was a complete idiot, so i wouldn't look too hard for meaning.
