This one's for the folks at Electrical.
What are your favorite late night digs for food? Eat-in, take-out, or delivery.
Now that I'm living in the neighborhood (without a phonebook too), I'd like to know what's good around here.
Thanks all....

3Not so far from Electrical is el Presidente on Ashland north of Fullerton. Great 24 hour Mexican food. MMMmmmmm! Eggs with chorizo with a pineapple Jarrito at 4am?! Forget about it!
(Irazu rules as well but as mentioned, not 24 hour... black bean barritos and bannana smoothies.... damn! But don't get in a small enclosed van with other people for a few hours after that....)

The Costa Rican sandwich is awesome. And... where else in this hemisphere can you get an oatmeal milkshake?
Oh, and as for the original post, when I was living in Chicago, I went to Clarkes a lot. It's nothing special, just a diner open 24hr that you can smoke in.

Is that the place like 4-5 miles north of the Western\Belmont intersection on the right? I was just telling someone how good that place was.

7If you are in the Division sector of the wicker park & ukrainian village universe, Pizza Metro has a great/unique slice and damn fine espresso. They are just a little west of Ashland (Close to La Pasadita for those late night Mexican fans) and are open quite late. Around 2-3am as I remember. As a bonus, you'll get to hear very much of the fake italian. Real Italian is also spoken.

There is also that great 24 hour Korean place on Lawrence between Western and California simply called 'Korean Restaurant'. It's true. Look it up in the Yellow Pages. Good take out.

It's a great restaurant, but I think Cho Sun Ok, on Lincoln across from, I think it's Gas 4 Less, is better. I've had excellent food at both, but last time I went to Cho Sun Ok I realized that the bbq there was truly better. Atmosphere not as good, hours not as good, but oh that meat, that bbq meat... and then, when you've finished your pile of meat, they swing by your table & pile rice on the meat-frying thing & muck it up for you, all the meat scraps & fat & bits of burnt garlic... and oh that mucked-up rice tastes good.
Electrical-specific restaurant, though: we always, always order Star of India.
