John Amaechi has just come out publicly as a gay former NBA player. Professional athletics in America is still in the stone age when it comes to homosexuality. Just trying to get some dicussion going as to how others feel about this issue. Details here-

You might want to read about Justin Fashanu, also, still the only openly gay British footballer. It doesn't make for a happy story.
