OK, with a high waffle factor, they barely squeeze in the Not Crap category for me, but it's close. Some (ok - a lot) of Tod A's lyrics are just retarded - but the metal percussion is cool and so is a good chunk of the sampler stuff. Ned's Atomic Dustbin comparisons be damned.

Although i like the idea of having two bassists in one band, the lyrics and vocals of this band make me want to drive a spike through my face.

Not crap. Firewater is WAY better--Duane Denison represent. But Cop Shoot Cop have some good, greasy tunes.

I have a Cop Shoot Cop t-shirt from '89 or '90.
It's still in perfect condition; the silk screening still smells rubbery.
Especially after it comes out of the dryer.
Quality counts: Not Crap.

I used to be way into 'Consumer Revolt' -- but really found them to be quite a Foetus rip off... still -- Not crap, because I used to really like that record. It still sits scratched and scuffed in my collection. Once I think Jim Thirlwell said he saw them and had to leave because they were so much like Foetus. I have no idea what they sound like now.

"Not Crap" during the Headkick Facsimile and Consumer Revolt days, but thereafter I lost all interest. What an odd pairing of bands when I saw Cop Shoot Cop open up for The Wedding Present at LAx.
