CRAP
or
NOT CRAP?
Song: " Ben" by Michael Jackson
2I really like this song. It reminds me of my guinea pig and being 8 years old again, which i think was the age that Michael Jacksons was when he sang it...so...a lot of sentimental value for me.
I think that it's really sweet and innocent sounding.
Not Crap.

Call me sick, but am I the only one who feels that all the Michael Jackson allegations have added a new, dark element to his music? Pretty twisted I guess of me to say...but I'll never listen to that chunky, bassy, synth thingy in "The Way You Make Me Feel" the same ever again.

4It's a beautiful melody and arrangement, I really like it a lot. The perfect song for M Jackson to sing at that point in his career.
I'm fine with sentimental music, it doesn't bother me at all. Major chords are angry and defiant , used for sticking it to the man and acting like a ruff tuff creampuff, minor chords are sad and wistful and are used for writing songs about splitting up with your girlfriend and not being able to procure another within two or three weeks. If you've got a problem with that then go away and listen to some Derek Bailey, not The Jesus Lizard.
Sometimes, it's good to observe a tradition.
