I'm pumped on it. The last few seasons sucked donkey cock but I think the final bit is going to be awesome.

We got HBO just to see this last season. I am a Teamster, so I have a particular fondness for Mob stories.

One of the best cultural moments I've had in a long while is when I saw the priest in one of the earliest seasons say about the pasta he was eating, "Oh, man, it's the De Cecco."

Then again, since I am both Italian and originally from north New Jersey, it's kind of impossible for me not to like the Sopranos.

Bobby will be the next "Boss" IMHO.

By hook or by crook. Bobby has been a good earner (maybe the best). Chrissy is going down the tubes, AJ is a complete no show...who else will it be? At least it will be kept in the family if Bobby becomes the boss, albeit indirectly through his marriage to Janice (who has always wanted to better her brother) and Bobby was Junior's second in command and caretaker since Tony took over the family. Tony has been disrespecting Bobby's *ss for the last 4 seasons. I predict a hostile takeover (he got his taste of kicking Tony's behind in the first episode).

Pauly gets whacked. Syl is going nowhere...fast. Phil can't takeover NJ (this is relatively based on real mob events) and in spite of Tony trying to make peace on Phil's hospital bed he will be an enemy.

The premiere was actually pretty awesome. I enjoyed it very much. Seems like this season is really going to pick up and be something very awesome.
